Worry.......NOT! DEVOTIONALS

You hear you children wake from their nap as you shift either another toddler over to your next hip or you have an arm load of laundry that you are trying to waddle over to the couch to fold but get bombarded with about 17 different questions from two very different mouths. The Husband if coming home in an hour dinner thought are still dancing through your head, You need to be somewhere in 2 hours you mentally flip through your closet in your mind, and you realize 98% of the items in your closet won't zip up.
Pressure knots at the base on your neck and then works its way to your templates for a major headache.

In Matthew 6:25, Jesus urges, "therefore I tell you DO NOT worry about your life, what you will eat, what you will drink, or about your body, what will you wear."
The word worry here literally means, "To be drawn in a different direction," to worry is to mentally divided. When you react to pressure with worry, it's like splitting your devotion to Jesus and sharing it with other Gods.
Worry invites you to jump from one happy afternoon of children busy with building blocks and playdoh to an attitude of "I'm ruined if anyone sees this place" ( I personally suffer alot from that)worry divides your thinking, begging you to share gods sole place of authority over your days with others.

You can keep your thinking focused without worry. You can ask yourself, "Will this matter in five years?" ( I have to tell myself in between boy fights and the famous "can i haves",will this matter in 5 minutes)
"Why do I care what they think of me?" And then YOU can LIVE today
