Cheerio cookies by Natalie Barron

Here's a recipe to use up all those cheap Cheerios! I have also made it with honey nut cherrios as well.

Cheerio cookies
1 3oz pkg cook and serve butterscotch pudding
1/2 cup light corn syrup
... 1/2 cup peanut butter
4 cups Cheerios

In large saucepan blend pudding mix and corn syrup. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Boil for 30 seconds. Remove from heat, blend in peanut butter. Add Cheerios, stirring until coated. Turn into greased 9x9 pan. Cool and cut into squares. This recipe can be doubled.
