Easy apple dumplings...by April

Easy Apple Dumplings

2 cans crescent rolls (i use butter ones)
... 2 granny smith apples
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. butter
1 12 oz. can mt. dew
cinnamon sugar (optional)

Preheat oven to 350, butter the bottom of 9x13 pan.
Peel, core and cut each apple into 8 slices each. wrap each slice in one crescent roll, make sure there are no holes and they are sealed good. place them in pan, two rows. (I sprinkle them with cinnamon sugar on top AND on the apple before I roll it, but that's just me!)

Melt butter in pan, add sugar and cinnamon. Bring to boil. Pour over the dumplings. Pour the mt dew over all and bake for 45 minutes! Then eat as many as you can without getting sick!!!!!
